Fife & Foothills Trail (2018-10-01)
My partner needed to be in Fife all day, so we booked a room for a couple nights. During that day, I went on a short jaunt on the Foothills Trail to see it for the first time since it was continuous between East Puyallup and Buckley.

Snohomish and Lake Stevens (2018-09-01)
Another ride my partner was unable to join, even though we'd originally planned for me to show her the area up there.
I've been experimenting with determining what my knees actually want for a long time. I was able to start with a big leap from how I had Ivory Pass set up with new bike, and this ride was another part of it. As of writing this blog, I actually need set-forward seatposts for both bikes now, which means that specifying a 71.5° seat tube angle for both of them was a big mistake. Bike fitters had been trying to get my saddle further and further back for years, but I've discovered that, not only did I not need that, but it also sent my thought process in the completely wrong direction.

Green River Out and Back (2018-08-12)
My first half century in quite some time.
I was originally planning to ride with my partner, but she was having breathing troubles due to both the humidity and the smoke in the air. I'd noticed that the sunlight reaching the ground had been strangely yellow for at least a week, but nobody pointed anything out regarding air quality until the day after this ride. This ride's length wasn't planned at all, so I stretched my food reserves out too thinly.
