My plan was to loop around Lake Washington, but the weather suggested I do something else. The main idea was roughly finalize the saddle position before having a professional take a look, and I pretty much got that done.
This ride ended up being a short out-and-back to and from Bothell, so there aren't many details to add. I did get a pinch flat, though.
More after the break…
With 175mm cranks, I was never able to find the area between "front of knee pain/lifting off" and "back of knee pain."

With these 170mm cranks, it became obvious where the saddle needed to go. I've also gained 2-5 MPH.

Rater odd, considering my 34" inseam.

@predederva I guess you've never seen me, then!

While my original plan was to ride around Lake Washington, the weather is telling me that is ill-advised.

Having a parks department maintain a commute route doesn't make much sense. #seabikes

These 170mm cranks have made #cycling fresh and more fun for me. Who would've guessed that 10mm of amplitude would do that for me?

Managed to get a pinch flat on one of those lovely metal bits that SDOT likes to leave sticking out of the pavement. Front tire! #seabikes

@daihard@seattledot@dongho_chang It wasn't even 'pieces'; it was one of those things that was obviously meant to be permanent.

"50% chance of rain" actually means "100% chance of half-assed rain." #Seattle

Two punctures, each 1 cm in length. That tube was done. I guess 60 psi in 35mm tires isn't enough for Seattle.

@bikehugger Gotta love the 'burbs.

My pump setup is so effective that I actually managed to blow out the first replacement tube I tried. Whoops!

If I were to go road tubeless, I'd probably have to find a new pair of rims. The TK 540 rims I have now are known to seat tires loosely.

Maybe something like the Velocity A23 or Quill.
